Shower Valve Installation and Repairs
More Information
Types of Shower Valves
- Pressure-Balancing Valves – These maintain consistent water pressure and temperature by adjusting the balance of hot and cold water.
- Thermostatic Valves – These allow you to control the exact temperature of the water and keep it stable even if other fixtures are used.
- Diverter Valves – These direct water between the tub spout and the showerhead (or between multiple showerheads).
- Mixing Valves – Older type of valve that blends hot and cold water manually (less common now).
